Bush Pediatric Dental has a mission to make a trip to the dentist fun for their young patients.  The 7,000 square foot dentist office is filled with features that children love.  In addition, parents equally admire the upscale designer details.

The building is a two story, wood framed structure.  The exterior is clad in stone veneer and lap siding.  A heavy timber porch guides patients to the front door.  Also, the porch features a raised planter bed and pavers.

Inside, Jessie Stephens, of South House Interiors, provided exquisite details.  The space features an abundance of moldings, paneling, millwork, and designer wallpaper.  The waiting area features a playhouse with an authentic, wood shake roof.  Likewise, a wood cove ceiling and decorative wood beams embellish the waiting area.  Other walls are adorned with storybook facades.  What’s more, off the waiting area is a therapy dog space.  The dog area includes a viewing window to the lobby, custom gate, and dog themed wallpaper.

Further, the dental hygiene bay has all kids getting their teeth cleaned in the same space,  Importantly, the Bush’s noted their patients feel more comfortable when they can see one another.  The space is clad with a picket fence along the walls.  Also, colorful wall sconces accentuate bronze wall sculptures of various fanciful creatures.  Moreover, the space is filled with natural light from the dormer windows above.  Finally, for those patients who may need a little more quiet, two private cleaning rooms are also included.

The staff break room includes cottage inspired millwork and custom staff lockers.  Treatment rooms feature barn doors with round portholes, as well as, large windows to the outside.  Overall, the project strives to meet the balance of creating a children’s wonderland in a timeless English cottage themed space.
