PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Southern Paradise is a 5,900 square foot private residence, located in Central Alabama.  It is built on the banks of a large lake and nestled within the existing trees.  The home offers spectacular views of nature and abundant wildlife.  Also, the rear porch faces the water and offers the perfect place for an afternoon retreat.

The exterior of the home is clad in stone and cement board siding.  The roof resembles natural slate roof tiles.  In addition, metal accent roofs are used to highlight the connections between elements of the home.  Gas lanterns are located beside the entry doors.  Furthermore, expansive windows allow natural light into the interior.

Guests are greeted with a large, vaulted ceiling when entering the Great Room.  Structural wood trusses support the roof above.  Additionally, the interior of the home features walnut wood floors, stained to match the windows and woodwork throughout.  The kitchen is a chef’s dream, with a custom kitchen island, wine refrigerator, and several hidden appliances.  Moreover, the Laundry Room also features an island for folding clothes.  Adjacent to the Laundry Room is a Dog Washing Station, the envy of all dogs in town.

Overall, Southern Paradise is simply that; a small slice of heaven with southern charm.
