Wind Mist Lake House is a project that designed a speculative home in the Windermere community on Lake Martin, AL. The design of the home provides an efficient use of space. Further, the design captures many of the items on the wish list of lake home buyers.

  On the exterior, the lake side of the home has a deep, full length porch with a view of the big water. Buyers can imagine relaxing on the porch while enjoying sunset views of the lake. In addition, abundant windows take in the natural light while framing views of the lake. The street side of the home features a two car carport. This allows an owner to unload their cars while it is raining without getting wet. Also, the exterior of the home features lap siding in a dark grey color. Below the siding, the foundation walls receive natural stone veneer. Overall, the exterior design is in keeping with the neighboring homes and looks to be desirable to a wide audience.

  On the interior, the home contains an open concept living area, main floor master suite, three upstairs guest suites, and a bunk room. The interior features tongue and groove wood ceilings, wood beams, a stone fireplace, ship lap siding, and real wood floors. Bathrooms feature custom tile shower and tub surrounds.
